The SVD10 is a SD frame synchronizer, with autophaser and video delay of
up to 24 frames (adjustable in frames, lines and pixels). The synchronizer
function can be used to synchronize a non-synchronous signal or to compensate
for a delay. New sync codes (TRS) are being generated and re-inserted in the
output signal. The SVD10 has a totally transparent blanking, both horizontally
and vertically. The unit has a Serial Digital (SDI) component input at 270Mb/s,
one re-clocked SDI output and two synchronized/delayed SDI outputs.
Furthermore, the card has a programmable analog video output, RGB, composite
and component. The video reference is connected through the central genlock input
of the SFR18, SFR08 or SFR04 frames.
The line synchronizer function corrects timing errors (hops) that occur due to
switching in a router. In this case, a video reference is not required as the
output clock frequency is derived from the input video clock
