TRACS records non-stop, 24/7/365 – with all audio/video recording, and the cataloging of transmission output,done automatically. TRACS creates a continuous recording on a ‘First In, First Out’ (FIFO) basis, automatically removing out-of-date material to enable fresh recording.TRACS runs on a Linux operating system, which improves stability and is not sensitive to viruses, unlike other operating systems. It is built with new, custom designed hardware. New 1RU frames include redundant power supplies, whilst the RAID 5-protected hard disks prevent data loss, even if one of the disks fails.
