Jan Eveleens is responsible for strategy and general management.
Prior to joining AXON in 2009 Jan worked for Grass Valley where he served for 7 years as General Manager Image Capture Systems. Before that Jan was General Manager at various Philips divisions and he holds a degree in computer science from the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands. Currently Jan also serves as the Chairman of the members Board of the International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM).
Harry Kanters is responsible for worldwide sales, marketing and customer support.
Harry Kanters joined Axon in March 2004 and realized considerable growth in volume as well as sales staff with Axon offices in the UK, China and Middle-East. Prior to joining Axon Harry Kanters worked for Thomson Cameras in Breda as marketing and sales manager and member of the Management Team. Harry Kanters spent eleven years working with Philips in various functions in broadcast and communication products. For the latter he lived a few years in Pennsylvania to set up distribution channels in the US. Harry Kanters started his career in 1980 with a company in submarine building. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electro technology.
Rafael Peset is responsible for product development and technology roadmap.
He joined Axon in January 2009, after working as general manager of a mixed signal design house in NXP Semiconductors. Before this, he fulfilled several management and technical roles in Philips. Rafael Peset holds a M.Sc. degree in Physics, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He has published more than 20 articles and is the author of several patents.
Mrs. Sjoukje Schat-Hof is responsible for Finance, HRM, ERP and accounting administration.
Mrs. Schat-Hof joined Axon in July 1994. Prior to joining Axon Mrs. Schat-Hof worked for four years with Plastic Omnium as financial controller and ICT manager. She has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Clinical Chemistry.
Axon’s CTO Peter Schut is responsible for the company’s technical strategy and roadmaps, definition and conceptual architecture of all in-house developed products.
He joined Axon in September 1994 as a design engineer working on the original modular FR-Range, that evolved into the current Synapse modular range. Peter’s career path also evolved from one role into the other, each time taking on more responsibilities and rising in the company’s hierarchy. From a position at Customer Support, via stints at Application Engineering and Product Management he ultimately joined the board of directors in December 2007. Prior to being employed at Axon Peter worked as a design engineer in the high end audio segment, working on CD-players and top end audio amplifiers; he then worked for the Ministry of Defence, where he was involved in several high tech projects related to battle tanks and armoured vehicles. Peter has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, is member of several forums and associations in the broadcast industry, where he is known for his drive and contagious enthusiasm when discussing (new) concepts.
Mark Verhoeven is responsible for supply chain (purchasing, logistics and stock management), quality assurance, facility management and information and communication technology.
Mark Verhoeven joined Axon in May 2006. Prior to joining Axon, he was marketing and sales manager at Halin (Electronics subcontractor). Prior to working at Halin, Mr. Verhoeven worked for 16 years for Philips in various units fulfilling various management roles. He has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business Economics and a Masters degree in Executive Strategic Management.
